A Response to Those Who Labeled Me a Bigot

Dear Readers,

Not long ago, I published an article called "What The Word of God Says about Homosexuality." I have since been called a bigot by several people, but nonetheless God's Word is quite clear that homosexuality is a sin. (Refer to Romans, chapter one, New Testament)

When I wrote the article, it was published in the Gay & Lesbian section of Socyberty. Needless to say, the backlash was enormous from the homosexual community.

I was not writing the article to debate the issue, only to inform [of a particular viewpoint].

We are all sinners in need of God's forgiveness. I wrote the article to shed light on that need.

God Loves His creations; it is not His will that any should perish.

It is because I love God and the people that I wrote the article for. I have been called "intolerant" simply because I stand up for truth and morality. In a way, I suppose I am intolerant if intolerant simply means to call sin what it is rather than condoning it.

The Bible is clear and God reveals the truth and validity of His own word to those whose hearts are tender and open to hear. Jesus himself said "My sheep hear my voice". Therefore, since the Word of God speaks for itself clearly, people need only to heed the voice of the Lord.

It is always clear. The human conscience testifies that Homosexuality is wrong. God gave us wisdom and a heart, soul, conscience, and mind. He also gave us His Word so that His Children may have knowledge and His Truth.

The Laws of God are written on every heart. He loves people but He hates sin.

To condone immorality is blatant disobedience to God, and willful sin has consequences.

Hebrews 3:15 states:

"While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation."

Nowhere in the Word of God is homosexuality sanctioned or condoned. It is expressly condemned in several places however.
