A Short Note on the Book of Genesis

Adding a Greek Orthodox Christian perspective to the more deeply understood beliefs of Genesis.

I have always wanted to write about the book of Genesis, the first book of the Christian Bible and 53 pages in length. As a practicing Greek Orthodox and as a Ph.D. in counseling, I am sure my perspective will have some worth. A teacher of Latin that I had taught me one important lesson and then made it verbally concise. He said, Never apologize. By way of explanation, he was referring to scholarly work. The Book of Genesis says, In The Beginning/God Created The Heaven And The Earth. God created the universe and the earth, a part of it.

God, therefore, in the right way of thinking or orthodoxy, (the word orthodox means right way) was before the universe. He, therefore, created, and his creation is the universe. We are his created beings existing on his created earth. What a joyfully expression of love to our creator to contemplate using our robotic minds how he created, from what matter and in what universe was he to make a double or was He alone and finding Himself lonely and amazingly discovering Himself, I Am, and choosing to create a place for Himself to exist in a physical manner. Robots carry with themselves all knowledge and attributes of their creator but one, the onset of their being. Robots cannot conceive of themselves before they were. By extension, we can project that our Creator, himself, cannot conceive of Himself before He was. For God He always was. I Am The Alpha And The Omega/ The Beginning And The End. Praise God
