A True Picture of God

I was asking who is God really? This is what occurred to me.

The other day, I was sitting and thinking about God and who he is. Well, I meditated on it for a while and then I let the thought go. After a while it occurred to me who God really is. This "epiphany", if you will, really changed my life. Let me tell you why.

I have been taking a lot of quiet time to myself, which I believe is very important. But it is the attitude that I was taking the quiet time with that was quite negative. I believed that my interaction with everyone was stifling my growth. Now, that received this knowledge on which God is. I know that is erroneous thinking.

We are to love God who is invisible, right? We are to love other people as well? If you don't love your brother, then you can't love God. Isn't that what the Bible says? Well, this is what came to me. I myself am not God, neither is Jim, Susie, or Joseph. But all of us together are parts of God. The more of us that get together, then more of God is there. That is why we should not "forsake the fellowship of the saints." Basically saying we should be communicating with other people.

With me "hermitting" myself for the sake of "growth," I was actually ignoring God. I was forsaking the fellowship of the saints and not loving God in the process. I can only love God through other people, because how can you love God without loving his pieces?

That brings me to another point. To love God fully, you must love everyone. All of humanity together is God himself. So, bring your music to the world. Design your clothing for the masses. Write that script that you have been working on. Love the world the best way you know how. God is very pleased with you. Be pleased with yourself.

Excellent - that's so right.

Loving our neighbour is loving God.

Paul puts this another way, in him we live, move and have our being, and elsewhere, above all, through all and in you all.

This is why the great comission commands the Gospel be preached to all creation - since the substance of creation is the word of God

Very good Gerlaine. But then again you never cease to amaze me. This was truly a great piece and God is definitely pleased with
you and the gift he passed on to you, you have chosen to do well
with it and that alone tells us all you are one with God; which is how it was meant to be. Keep up the good work. Amazing and stay
blessed always one and all.

I think we all have questions about God from time to time. Good job. Touched my heart.
