Accepting Our Cross

Wanting people to realize that they must allow God to do His work no matter what the situation.

Should we think our cross is too much for us to bare. We are sadly mistaken. If our Father was able to accept the stripes that were thrusts upon Him, then we should be able to accept ours. Look at Job, in the end, he came out more blessed in the latter of his life than in the beginning. Having fourteen thousand sheep and so on. We're always whining and complaining about our punishments. Yet, so quick to say The Lord isn't gonna place anymore upon us than we can bare. Hypocrites! We must accept the chastising of our Father. Accept it without lowliness or being bitter. He's disciplining us for a reason. We are His children. Each and everyone of us. Hebrews 12:7 says for us to endure our hardship as discipline. That God is treating us as sons. I know it's easier said than done, but we must learn to do this without grumbling. Submit everyone. I'm happy to know I'm His child. I've sat back many a day without peace, asking why I must go through as I do. And I always get the same answer Because I am His child. It's never registered before like it has this time. I am his child! The kingdom has a space for me! Wow! I'd rather go through all the challenges that are set before me than not. I've had many a spiritual war with myself, lots of wavering faith, and many a dispute with our Father. Searching for the answer that I feel best suits me. I never really get one. I just think I do. He eventually breaks me down in a way I chose not to deal with. Comes with having a hard head. We've got to stop refusing God and allow Him to do His works on us. It may not always come with a smile but in the end I'm sure it will be moonlight bright! Hugs and kisses to all.
