This seems to be the belief of Mormons founded by Joseph Smith who stated that at one time in his life God the Father and the Son Jesus Christ came down in flesh to him (Pearl of Great Price, Joseph Smith 2:17-19). Smith was charged in court and found guilty of parting a local farmer from his money in a less-than honest scheme commonly known as “money digging” or “glass looking.” The proof of this record was discovered in 1971 by Rev. Wesley Walters at the basement in a New York jail house. The records, affidavits, and other data show exclusively that Smith was arrested, went to trial, was found guilty and was fined.

Hugh B. Brown was the first president of this religion. In its 1835 edition of their Doctrine and Covenants, it speaks against polygamy. No man could marry a second wife unless the first one died; no divorce and no polygamy. It was labeled a crime; those were the ideas of Smith.
But Smith did not exactly live what he preached. In 1887, Andrew Jenson, Mormon Church historian, listed 27 women who were married to Smith. Fawn Brodie, in her book “No Man Knows My History (appendix C),” listed them in detail and brought the number to a total of 48 women who were sealed to Smith and united with him in a so called “holy polygamy.” These marriages according to him should not be confused with the “proxy sealing,” with the dead Joseph Smith. About 149 dead women were later sealed to him by proxy in the temple ceremonies Brodie further said.
Facts and Beliefs
- Mormons reject the Word of God, they reject its finality, and they took away Scriptures and added something to it. This is contrary to Rev. 22:18-19.
- They ignore the bible and tried their best to twist it in a way pleasing to their belief
- Mormons live by some type of free-wheeling program or revelation
- They also believe that man can be a God someday (Teaching of Joseph Smith p. 345,346 and 372).
Smith teaches that God Himself was once like we are but an exalted one that is why its members are encourages learning on how to be God themselves someday.
The Book of Mormon
Joseph Smith had a vision of an angel named Moroni who revealed to him where some golden plates were hidden. According to him, he was also given glasses that will enable him to translate what is written in the golden plates known as the Book of Mormon.

Smith also claimed that he received a revelation from God that man should marry more wives than one. Some stories from these books have been proven that it was taken from the manuscript of a novel Smith has copied.
In The Discourse of Brigham Young 1977 edition p. 277 printed “God exist, and we had better strive to prepare to be one of them,” contradictory to the Word of God in Deuteronomy 6:4 “Hear oh Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord.” Therefore Mormons teaches that God is man and whose worshipper may become Gods as well. They have many gods as recorded in the Journal of Discourses by Orson Pratt, Vol. 2 p. 245.
The Church Location
The Mormon Church is located in a mountain vault built by the Mormons 20 miles Southwest of Salt Lake City at an initial cost of $1.5M and this building is believe to be earthquake and bomb proof. Its security is so sophisticated to protect its genealogical microfilms and other church records. Six openings on the side of this mountain lead to huge cross tunnels which serve as storage area. The walls are painted in pastel colors and each tunnel is equipped with fluorescent lamps with controlled temperature and humidity.

About Jesus Christ
In the Mormon's official publication, B. R. McConkie said, to confess Jesus as their Lord and Personal Savior would be a fallacy in their belief. They are also not convinced that the blood of Christ can clean ones sin and it takes more than accepting Him to be saved.
