Creation or Evolution? That is the Question

Christians believe in Creation in seven days. Scientists believe in Evolution over millions of years. Why can't it be both?

For centuries there's been a war going on between Christians and Scientists about who's right about how the world was created. Christians believe that the world and the universe were created by the very hands of the Almighty God in only 7 days. Scientists believe that it took millions of years through a process of one creature turning into another therefore leaving a multitude of creatures in its wake. Christians believe what they believe because of what the bible (the living word of God) says and their own faith in the word of God. Scientists believe what they believe because of evidence they believe they have found in their research.

I want to know why no one has ever thought of this before or maybe they have and were too afraid to say anything for fear of being ridiculed. Why can't they both be true? There is a scripture in the bible that says “To God a year is as a thousand and a thousand is as a year.” Now what does that mean?

It means that time is man made. It means that to God there is no such thing as time. If the bible was inspired by God as Christians believe then when he said he created the world in 7 days that could have been 7 thousand years or 7 million years as well as 7 days as we know it. No mater how God created the world in a mere 7 days that we know it as or 7 million years it is truly a miracle that a being could create such a wonderful creation! Everything we need was created first before living beings were put into place. The bible says God created the creatures in the oceans before he created animals that walk on the earth or fly in the air. Interesting isn't it? Isn't that how scientists say it happened also? Creatures came out of the ocean and began to grow lungs and legs? Why is it so impossible that this is the way that God actually created life on earth?

Did you know that scientists have found traces of frozen water on Mars and possible life there? Is it not possible that God is beginning to evolve another planet just the way he did Earth? What if as the planets move closer to the sun the Earth will eventually become too hot to support life anymore and we become extinct and then Mars is in the proper alignment for life to begin on it just as it did on Earth? How do we know this all isn't the way God planned it all? It all seems very possible to me. The bible is a mysterious book full of answers and giving us even more questions along with the answers we find. I am a Christian but I do believe this is possibly the way the earth was truly created. And if it is, it doesn't make God any less God. It doesn't make God any less The Creator and doesn't make God any less loving. Christians be open minded enough to think about this. I think the world is full of close minded Christians that need to realize that what they have been taught by man about the bible might not be exactly the way it is. Read your bible for yourself and don't just accept what other Christians believe to be your own belief! Ask God to show you what is the truth but to hear what he says to you, you may have to have an open mind.
