Do you know Jesus? My greeting Vivat Jesus! It is a very powerful expression. Vivere means to live, but vivat means more than he is living or he lives. Vivat means May Jesusgo on living or May Jesus be alive in the world, in society, in the church, in our nation , in our community and in our hearts.
When we say we want Jesus to be alive today, to be vivacious, it is an English word that comes from the latin word meaning- we want what Jesus did and what hea has taught to us here on earth. Jesus taught us how to live and if we live and to extent that we live is according to what Jesus teaches us.
About His flock, He said, “I came that they might have life and have it to the full” (Jn 10:10). Jesus in teaching us about of Father has for Him and the love of Jesus for us. A full life, complete joy- as much as the joy that Jesus experienced- is what Jesus wants for each and everyone of us. And we should never be satisfied with anything else. When we say Vivat Jesus, that is the least one of the things we should mean; we should mean May Jesus' life be mine. May Jesus' joy be mine. May Jesus live in me, in my mind, in my heart.
