Does God Care for the Unborn?

A debate on when life truly begins.

We often debate whether the unborn are viable human beings and when human life begins. To Christians, there can be no doubt. Life begins at conception.

Psalm 139:13-16 states that God numbers our days before we are born, knits our parts together while we are still in the womb, and knows us down to the number of hairs on our heads. Furthermore, Exodus 21:23 states that the punishment for causing a pregnant woman to miscarry is death. (Note: Exodus 21 contains the famous “an eye for an eye” verse.)

All of this is strong and conclusive evidence that the unborn are just as important to God as we are.
