Don't Give Up, Your Breakthrough is at Hand

And let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not...

Galatians 6:9-10

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Fred Smith had a vision to deliver packages overnight by air and ground. Fred attended Yale University, he wrote a term paper for an economics class, outlining overnight delivery service and the professor was not impressed and gave Smith a grade of C for his work. In June of 1971 Fred took this Idea and started his own business and called it Federal Express. He started off with $91 million from venture capitalists in addition to his own $4 million inheritance. By 1973 Smith had a fleet of 14 jets and several vans began offering service to 25 cities.

FedEx lost $29 million in its first two years of operation, his sisters also brought suit against him for misappropriating their trust fund monies. It was said that Fred Smith was destined to fail, because he started a company that would go up against the government (The U.S Postal Service) Fred kept fighting, because he believed in his dream and by 1999 FedEx was shipping three million packages every day with annual sales totaling $16.7 billion.

Fred could have quit and no one would have blamed him, because not only was his family and others telling him he would fail, but circumstances and situations was telling him he would fail. It's true that we must count up the cost in all our endeavors and get good counseling.

Never give up; things might go from bad to worse, but God is faithful and He wants you to succeed.

Many times God places His will inside of you with a burning desire and you call it a dream. You would say something like this, “It's my dream to start an orphan for abandon children and to make them feel special.” That's God will that he has placed in your heart, and you need to ask him, “Lord you have turn your will into my desire, so will you teach me how to make it successful? God wants the best for us and from us; He's not in heaven trying to come up with ways to make us fail. I use to avoid singing the song,“I surrender all,” because I thought that God would make me do things I didn't want to do and go places I didn't want to go. Does that mean God will never ask me to do something I don't want to do or go somewhere I don't want to go? Of course not, it's because God knows what's on the other side of our obedience. I'm saying He does not put obstacles in our life just to see us fail. If He has told you to go He will equip you, God is our greatest supporter.

God's Timing is not our Timing

Some may be asking, “Why is it taking so long.” When God make a person great it's not an over night deal, I've heard it said, “You can't rush perfection.” Abraham was promised a son when he was 75 years old; he was 100 years old when the promise was fulfilled, waiting 25 years when Isaac was born. Moses knew he was to be the deliverer when he was 40 years old; he led the Israelites out of Egypt when he was 80 years old, waiting 40 years. David was anointed king by the Prophet Samuel, and approximately 25 years later he sat on the throne as the king of Israel. Don't give up no matter how long it takes, God has not forgotten you. I feel that the time has come and I'm looking for the breakthrough any day.

The waiting years for these men were not easy years; Abraham had struggled with how he was to have a child at such an old age. So he had a child from his wife's maid servant. David had to run and hide from Saul who was the King at that time because he was extremely jealous Of David. Moses had to face Pharaoh who refused to release the Israelite from slavery.

Things maybe a little shaky or things maybe rolling down hill, let me encourage you don't let go your faith.

Let me tell you a secret on how to strengthen your faith. If you're going through a hard time, this is what you do; find a quite place. Offer your situation up to God, and then extend your faith for someone else who you know is going through a difficult situation, declare victory in their life as if it was your own. This unselfish act will cause heaven to smile on you.
