Examine Your Life

How to trust God fully.

In Spirit and In Truth

“….You see, child the reason one must do nothing sometimes is that the Universe can do everything. It will sort itself out, in it's own time. But often, we as impatient children rush in and do something to cause a ripple. Then the powers that be have to not only correct the original problem, but they have to go in and straighten our mess we've made.

“Then we get impatient again and do something else, which only compounds the problem further. We are oblivious to the fact in the most benign way possible….which takes time. Then, after we have tampered and tampered and tampered with the process, we are amazed that the Universe has to take a dramatic silence, like creating a storm or flood or and earthquake to straighten things out again. Sometimes we just need to be still, to listen, and to act by not acting!”

A statement like this does make on think of their walk with the Lord, at least for me it does. Why does the Lord do what he does? Why does it seem when we pray and take our burdens to the Lord, the answers we seek are not what we were expecting? Why the child of God does hurt so much? Why does God seem to abandon us in the time when we really need him?

Are we to be upset and angry at God? Do we interfere with what he is planning for us, and then God has to change it again because we interfered by using our own actions? Why do we feel so cast down it seems like no one understands the things we go through? They have an answer for us, but most times it is not God's answer, and we get disappointed because man's answer seemed to right, but to God it was not, which is why he had to change his response for things that happen in our lives.

The bible is clear “Beloved think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you; But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partaker of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy…” 1 Peter 4:12-13 (KJV)

We must go through hard time and trials, yet while we're going through our hard times, let's not forget who is in charge of our lives and destiny! It is difficult at times and when we want to let go, it is at that moment we lose the answer, because we did not wait on the Lord to finish the plan he has for us.

We must not forget who holds our hand, the one who holds our future. In God alone we find our answers, and we must trust him to work it out in his own time, because sometimes my child, one must be still…to let things work out on their own.”
