Experience Heaven and Hell in Computerized Churches in the Future

I will describe EPUs used for church services.

Once Experiencable Program Units are perfected, nearly all aspects of everyday life wil be affected by them; even church services.

With EPUs, preachers won't need to preach sermons.  If he has a message about Heaven or Hell, he'll be able to have the congregation experience those places.  He could conduct a tour of those places and other places mentioned in the Bible.

Imagine you're with Moses and you're crossing the Red Sea on dry ground.  It will seem so real that you could smell the animals.  Movies and TV don't convey the full impact of the experience.  That is why EPUs will be used in the future.

Psychologists may complain because people will be scared into not wanting to go to Hell.  But is that a bad thing?  People need to be convinced of a lot of things.  Feeling the heat, hearing the screams from the inhabitants, and nearly feeling the blackness will frighten a lot of people.  But if God can use EPUs to convince people that Hell is a real place, then it should be used.

Sunday school children will experience lessons.  They will be used to EPUs and will look forward to experiencing events and people in the Bible from a child's perspective.  EPUs will even let toddlers in the nursery play with the same toy because EPU caps will let them experience the same toy even though it may not exist except in a program.  There will be no fighting over them.

People will be able to stay home and experience the services, if they wish.  They will have no excuse for missing a sermon from their pastor unless they choose not to experience the message.  They'll even be able to sing in the choir even if they are thousands of miles away.  As long as the congregtion is able to experience the people, it will be as if they are physically in the church.

Churches with missionaries will be able to drop by electronically for services or have the missionaries visit the churches.  If the missionaries don't want to leave the field, they won't need to.  They could experience the United States and allow their congregations to experience America.  EPUs will definitely bring cultures around the world closer.

The offerings could be accepted electronically too.  It's already being done for other things.  So it would be natural for offerings to be sent over the Internet.

There are superchurches that have congregations of over 20,000 people.  With EPUs, no church could be considered a superchurch unless there are at least 100,000 people experiencing Sunday services.  Also, electronic contributions may have to exceed $1 milllion a week.

EPU weddings won't be as expensive since the people will be experiencing the wedding instead of physically attending the ceremony.   The ceremony could have a theme like 18th century elegance or a great cathedral like where members of royal familes are wed.  If you can't spend thousands of dollars renting out Saint Paul's Cathedral in London and fly thousnads of miles to attend the wedding, experience it in a Saint Paul's Cathedral program and never need to wear anything other than your underwear, if you choose.

Thanks to computer memory and video manipulation, congregations could have sermons preached by great preachers of the past.  Billy Sunday could be in all week holding evangelistic meetings.  The Apostle Paul might teach from one of the epistles he wrote and explain why he wrote what he wrote as if you're actually listening to that great saint speak.

If experiencable program units are going to be used by so many people in the future to experience virtually anything, it's natural that church services will also be experienced via EPUs.
