Have you ever been so bound by depression that you can't get up? All you want to do is lay where you are and die. I would stay in the bed for days. Too weak to eat, eyes all swollen from crying, all I wanted to do was lie there and dwell on all my problems and how miserable I was.
I would convince myself that I was sick going back and forth to the hospital hoping they find something wrong with me. I was a mess. One day something said get up! Pray! So I began to pray I was in so much distressed that I began to pray for the devil and his angels. I needed God to step in right now or I was going to loose my mind. I had so many evil thoughts of things I wanted to do to myself, and things that I wanted people to do to me. I was so distraught.
All of a sudden I felt the love of God, I felt his peace starting to wrap around me. My thoughts were now of good and survival, that my energy was being renewed my spirit was restored. Thank you Jesus! I'm pretty sure we all have come to this point, a mental break down. Doctors and psychologists like to prescribe pills for mental break down, but I would like to prescribe prayer to get a mental break through. So if you are experiencing a mental break down and you are lying there waiting to die Get Up! The joy of the lord is your strength.
Get on your knees and pray, open your bible and get into God's word, call on the saints of God to pray with you, do what you need to do to get into the presence of God because there awaits your joy, your strength, comfort, love, endurance, and faith. God said come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28) Not only will he give you rest but he also give you peace of mind. And the peace of God which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7) I am a true witness that if God said it he will perform it.
So get up there's nothing to hard for God if he can do it for me he will certainly do it for you. I pray your strength in the lord as you pray mine. Be blessed. Amen.
Get Up!
Get up from the place, which you lay.
Get on your knees and begin to pray.
Yield to God's will, and his commandments obey.
He will guide you through this day.
Get up and out and move about.
He has not given you a spirit of fear or doubt.
No need for you to cry and pout.
The lord is going to work it out.
Get up from there and wipe your tears.
Gods never left you over the years.
He knows all your pains and your fears.
Just cast them on him he truly cares.
Get up get up the time is now.
Before God's thrown, begin to bow.
God will avenge you, this I vow.
It is done Hallelujah anyhow.
