God Does Heal

God still performs healing in this day and age. It's up to the individual to accept and receive this healing for themselves, or someone else.

Do you know someone that is very sick, fighting a serious disease in their body? Is there a person in your life, that has been hurt in a very serious accident and their recovery doesn't look to good? Is there someone that you know, fighting a long term disability, and all of the problems that it brings? If so, then know in your heart that God still does heal the physical body, He still brings recovery to the physical being.

His Son Jesus died for that very reason; He paid a high price, so that those who believe, could benefit from it - while walking this Earth. Far to many people, when they see their love ones or even themselves, go through such a thing; they accept the situation at hand. Yes, people do get sick, or go through certain disabilities in their personal life; yes, there is a time appointed for all Human Beings to die. Yet, when it comes down to sickness and disease, God does not want any of His own to accept it as a final fact; something that can not be overcome through Him. He does not want any of His own to take the doctor as the final say in that particular situation, read Psalm 119. Each believer is to see God fighting their personal fights for them, literally fighting on their behalf, read Exodus 14:14.

God is real, He is not something you believe in, to bring satisfaction to your own soul; while you use human intellect to solve and overcome your problems. He exist, He is active and is always there; He is Supernatural and wants to perform the Supernatural on those who believe. He wants to get personal, and show Himself real in a person's life. He wants to reason with them, He wants them to hear and understand His Voice from within; so He can be the guide and do the directing -- so He can be the one doing the leading, read Isaiah 1:16-19, 64:4,8; John 10:3-5,22-30; Proverbs 3:5-8, 16:3.

When it relates to healing, God does not want anyone to accept the sickness that exist; be it in themselves, or someone they know; the end result is in His Hands, not the Human Being. What seems impossible to a person to overcome, is nothing for Him, read Luke 18:27. First Peter 2:24 reads, “Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness - by whose stripes we were healed.” Think about what is stated in this verse, understand what was accomplished for you by Jesus hanging on the Cross. Because of what He did, certain benefits are already given to the believer. He literally paid the price that each human was to pay for themselves - because of their sins, read Romans 3:23. (Sin separates a person from God; because of sin, sickness and disease appears on the scene)

Since He took care of sin on our behalf, then sickness is not to have any control over us, especially in our minds; it's in our minds that the victory must be proclaimed, defeating the sickness that is in the body; as individuals we are to have a strong mind, in defeating the sickness or what ever it is they are going through; if an individual's mind is weak relating to the sickness, then the sickness will win. Proverbs 18:14 reads, “The strong spirit of a man sustains him in bodily pain or trouble, but a weak and broken spirit who can raise up or bare?”

You learn in 1st Peter, that we are already healed, past tense; something that has already been accomplished. This is awesome news, the healing is already complete; the healing has already been performed. Yet, if a person does not believe this, if they don't accept what has been done, then the sickness or disease will have no reason to leave. We are to speak healing into our own bodies and others, remember, God works according to His Word that is within you, read Isaiah 55; John 8:31-32. If a person fears such things can not be overcome, then it will come to pass; if a person things sickness and disease is to be accepted, then this will come upon them; what they fear, will happen, read Job 3:25; Proverbs 18:21 (What ever you speak, will happen; be it good or bad).

Read Psalm 107:17-22, verse 20 reads, “He sends forth His word and heals them and rescues them from the pit and destruction.” Read Matthew 8:6-13, we learn here from the story of the centurion, how Jesus was able to speak the word and bring healing, even though He was not physically with the person that was sick; it was the faith of the centurion that bought the healing, not the person that was sick. (Sometimes, the healing is based on the person that is sick) Verse 13 states, “Then to the centurion Jesus said, Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed. And the servant boy was restored to health at that very moment.”

I believe the Word of God; in that Word I have the victory and life everlasting! Your words are encouraging and resound in truth! "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." Psalm 118: 17
