God declares in Isaiah 55:8-9 that His ways are different from our ways and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Most times, we try to be smarter than God by being logical with Him regarding what He commands us.
Human thoughts are based on popular opinion but the majority is not always right with God. God is not a Democrat that strives in popular opinion because the Bible describes Him as a man of war so He is a military man not a Democrat.
Therefore, you cannot get logical/mathematical with God because His ways are different and His logic no man can comprehend. His logic is like the reverse of the logic of man. God's logic in Matthew 16:25 reveals that those who attempts to save will lose while those who lose for His sake will find. There is no way one can be logical with God and gets away with it. Our argument does not work with God; He promises that our 90% can be greater than our 100%. His blessing in Malachi 3:10 is that we should give 10% out of the 100% that seems insufficient so that the 90% with His blessings will be more than enough. To the Human understanding; this is rather mysterious because there is no way we can withheld and be blessed.
God is more than sufficient to meet all our needs, even in the face of embarrassment. In John 2:1-11 when the embarrassment was imminent Jesus commanded that the pots be filled with water and wine was made. We should allow God to lead us in everything we do, we should not be too smart for God to bless us.
Planning in a country like the U.S.A requires Jesus in the face of the number one country in the world. Life without Jesus is full of frustration but with Jesus in our boat we can laugh at the storms of life. The best thing life can give you without Jesus is third party insurance but with Jesus it is a comprehensive insurance with guaranteed future.
The Bible says in John 12:24 that except a corn of wheat falls into the ground and die it abides alone. When giving our life to Jesus we should let go of our reputation. We should not depend on popular opinion but on the will of God for our lives, if we are out of His plan we will be frustrated.
God's logic is beyond integration or calculus. It is giving that we have more, in dying that we live and in scattering that we gather more.
