God Loves Us

God loves us and he doesn't want us to perish, that is why He sent His only Son Jesus Christ to deliver and resort us back. Since God loves to this extend we need to show our love to peoples around us, by doing this we showing our love to God.

This reminds me of a story of one woman who was traveling one day with his son and God saved their life through His love. Because this woman loved the peoples occupied bus with her and obeyed the simple instruction of God when He informed her to preach to them for repentance of there sin. The story goes thus:

There was an accident that involved one woman and her little boy. This accident was totally took the life of everyone that occupied this particular vehicle but life the life of this woman was saved and her son.

Fortunately for them, they were saved without nothing touched them. After short unconsciousness moment, they later came back to their senses and started looking everywhere. They saw many people laid beside them, which many were stone dead in the pool of blood. Other passengers were rushed to the nearest hospital if they may be saved.

However, she first of all eagerly searching for her son and found him beside her untouched, she quickly carried her. “John!! Are you alright?” She asked quickly. “Mummy I am ok” said John. She continued thanking God and giving God all glory because nothing was happened to them. John was amazing, staring at everywhere. He did not understand what was occurred. He later said; “Mummy, Mummy! We were saved!” He repeated it. “Mummy we were saved” He really wants her mummy to say something. He quickly asked “Why we were saved and who saved us”. Her mummy was still thanking God and mediating on goodness of God. By looking at the rest passengers, she vividly recollects what happen before the incidence. She was astonished about one man who was making jest of her when she was preaching, praying and speaking in tongue in that bus prior to the accident. She was just mediating again in the goodness of God for there life. She remembered when God told her to begin praying. She reacted to the voice of the lord and started praying aloud.

A long the line, she finally answer that little boy who was anxiously waiting for her answer. She said; “I thank God after all.” She said; “by His mercy and love, we were saved”. “He loves us”. She added it quickly. The boy asked again “who love us and protect us from this danger” She replied; “Our Lord Jesus who does not want us to perish but live.” He was curious and wanted to know more. He said; “why Jesus does not want us to die and perish” “Because He loves those that obey Him and done His will.” She added.

Jesus loves this woman and her son. He protected them. God love us that why he sent his only Son to this earth to come and take our sin away and protects us from devil. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John3:16 KJV.

She remembered, what is she said when she was preach; “tomorrow may too late, God owns your life. Repent and confess your sin.” She finally stood up and went away her way.

Now let us look at the secret of why so many fail to live really successful lives as follower of Jesus Christ. The Christian life is not just a life of obeying certain rules and regulation, but a loving relationship with a savior who died upon a cross. There are some who try to live the Christian life by looking at the commandments and obeying instruction. This is not the real Christian experience portrayed for us in the Bible. Christianity is not just living a good life, it goes deeper that that, it is a loving relationship with God and His son, the lord Jesus Christ

You may be asking how to love Jesus and His Son. You love them by passing the love to your neighbors. And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also. Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. And if yedo good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Luke 6:29-36

Love your God

If you try to serve the Lord Jesus Christ without knowing the tremendous power of His love within you, then the Christian life will become heavy, tiresome and boring. However, as you respond with thanks and gratitude for His love for you which was demonstrated on the cross of Calvary, then your love for Him day by day. It always easier to obey someone you love than someone you do not love. This is why Jesus talks so much about love in the New Testament. When you obey totally that mean Holiness. He knows that you can not live for Him until you first in Love with him.

If you are trying to live a successful and complete Christian life, but you are finding it difficult ask yourself “How much do I love Jesus” Is He the daily joy of your life? If not, then this may be the cause of some of your problem. Just get dawn on your knees now and confess to Him that you want to love Him, and ask Him to pour into your heart His own special love. He will do as you ask, you will see!
