God's Absolutes

A message of hope in hard times.

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ (Colossians 2:8).

There is an old humanistic teaching being used today. It is the teaching of Machiavelli. Machiavelli

teaches students to lie, steal, and that they are gods. Adof Hitler said, If you lie long enough that people will believe you.

The Bible says different. Psalm 63:11 says. ( But the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped. Proverbs 19:5 says. A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.Proverbs 19:9 sayes ( A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.

In Hosea 12:1, the Bible says the person who lies increases his lies daily. When a person loses their integrity, they lose their good name, shame their family name, and church or synague, And

lose the trust of friends, family, and community.

In Exodus 20:15 and Deuteronomy 5:19, one of the 10 commandments is ( Thou shalt not stael. The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexes ( mistreated) the poor and needy. Yea they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully ( Ezekiel 22:29).

People who rob usually have a partner in crime ( Proverbs 29:24, Proverbs 28:24). Satan was the first thief, he is still robbing people and convincing them to rob others. The thief comrth not, but for to steal, kill, and to destroy. I ( Christ ) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly ( John 10:10 ).

God says there are absolutes. In Exodus 20:3, God has said ( Thou shat have no other gods before me ). Not man, money, fame. or business. Philosophy is man's way of deceiving himself through subtle reasoning, conclusions drawn, and evidences assumed to be conclusive in themselves, even though they are false and contrary to the Bible.

But, there is good news, the Gospel, The teaching of Christ/Messiah and the apostles, the fundamentals of faith, the virgin birth of Christ ( God ) in the flesh ), his blood atonement at Calvary, and his resurrection. Salvation by grace. ( John 3:16, Romans 10:9-13 ) Jesus/Yesua

will still forgive and save.

Many people have suffered from the spiritual wounds of rejection, betrayal, and shame, but Christ Jesus provided healing for our wounded spirits on the cross. He was rejected by God and man in order that we might be accepted by God and God's family. Hsuffered shame that we might share in his glory.

He died our death in order that we might receive his life. Recognizing what Christ has done will bring release to you from your hurt or lose. Let the Holy Spirit help you identify how or where you have been wounded by rejection. Forgive the people who have harmed you, lay down the destructive fruits of rejection such as resentment, bitterness, hatred, and rebellion.

Accept that God has accepted you in Christ, accept yourself. We all at one time or another been hurt by the pride or greed of others, but we need not carry that hurt with us the rest of our lives.

As belivers we often play a part in the success of others. It is our responsibility not only to be a witness to unbelivers, but to minister the love of God as well to all.

In hard times let go and let God. Let the hard times build your faith and character. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises. That by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

And besides this, giving all diligences, add to your faith virture, and to virture knowledge, and to knowledge temperance, and to temperance patience, and to patience godliness, and to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. ( 2 Peter 1:4--8 ) By Reverend Troy Messer

I have been blessed by this message. By idols people generally tend to regard just the man-made articles of various kinds. They keep themselves away from such articles but never deal with the real idols like money, fame, luxury to name a few. I think the true gospel is never given to a sinner. I am sure messages like this will help the readers.
Thanks
Hema
