Sometimes things unexpected, are an answer to a prayer
And though it may seem unrelated, there's a real connection there
It may seem your prayers unanswered, or your request was too great
Our God just wasn't listening, and left it up to fate
Just because the answer isn't the one you thought It'd be
Doesn't mean He didn't answer, just because you can't yet see
His Power is almighty and His wisdom is all knowing
Only God can shape your destiny, Only God knows where you're going
You needn't have to pray, for your destiny to be revealed
Pray for forgiveness and his love will protect you like a shield
Then you need not ever worry about fate or destiny
Put all your faith into the Lord, from your worries be set free
Just loving and believing is all you need to do
And God will work out everything, and do what's best for you
