Heaven is Calling You

Tells men how to come to God for redemption of their sins.

Are you aware of the fact that God wants you to come and be with Him in heaven with Him when you die?

He does! Right now He is standing at your heart's door issuing to you a call. He is calling you to come to Him in repentance and faith and be saved. If you are interested please continue to read and prayerfully consider these truths.

As much as God wants you to go to heaven, you cannot without repenting of your sins and placing your personal faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.

Your sins separate you from the Father. “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” (Isaiah 59:2) Your sins are like a wall separating you from God. Because of that wall, your sins, God cannot hear you. The only cry that can penetrate that wall is the cry of repentance.

The Prophet Isaiah described our condition and gave us the solution for our sins in Isaiah 53:6 - “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. ”

All men are sinners. “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” (Romans 5:12)

No sin can enter heaven. “And there shall in no wise enter into it (heaven) any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb*s book of life.” (Revelation 21:27)

Because sin cannot enter heaven repentance is the only remedy for our sins that the Father will accept. “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:8-9)

Jesus came preaching repentance to the people. And saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” (Mark 1:15)

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:5)

Repentance was the heart and soul of the Apostle Paul's message. “Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Acts 20:21)

True repentance: A change of our mind and purpose in this life which brings about a right relationship with the Father - God.

Jesus promises eternal life to everyone who hears the gospel, repents of their sins and believes the message of the Father. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” (John 5:24)

Our faith must be true faith and not just words of pretense. “Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.” (Hebrews 10:38-39)

Jesus knows who truly believes and who only pretends to believe. “And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Matthew 7:23)

Jesus is the only Savior. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6) Jesus came from the Father to offer Himself, to the Father, a sacrifice for his sins. He lived a perfect, sinless life before the Father and the world, then he took man's sins to the cross and died on his behalf. The Father accepted the death of His Son as payment for the sins of all who call upon Him in faith repenting of their sins. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10)

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

Pray a simple prayer much like this: Father, I realize that I am a sinner and that I deserve to go to hell. I am sorry for my sins and my rebellion against you. Today, I turn from those sins and ask you to forgive me and save me. I believe that Jesus was your perfect Son. I believe that He died on the cross for my sins. I accept Him as my Lord and Savior. I am no longer my own. From this day forward I belong to YOU. Thank you for saving me, Amen!

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.” (John 10:27-30)
