Home Invasions, Even in Bible Days

What would they find out about you if your home was invaded?

Greetings,

Home Invasion! We have all heard of the frequency of home invasions here lately. But did you know that home invasions happened in old testament Bible times?

Take for instance the story of Dan. You see there were corrupt leaders in the administration that had it in for Dan. They did extensive background searches, poured through public documents, and interviewed many witnesses to see if they could get the dirt on him. After all this they found nothing. Determined to get him out of office they devised a plan to trap him. So they went to the Head of administration and set up a trap for Dan on his day off and while he was at home.

Now these guys were determined! They set up surveillance and caught him in the act in the privacy of his own home. Imagine that!!!

Of course by now you know I am talking about Daniel, and maybe I ad- libed a little. Hopefully you get the point! I said all that to say this, if you were invaded in your home what would they find out about you?

In Daniel's case he was accused of all things, “Praying to his God”! How about you? Would they find you as a faithful dedicated Christian who reads your bible and prays daily?

If Christ came to your house today, what would he find? Would there be any evidence that a Christian lived there? If you were gone tomorrow what evidence would you leave behind that you followed after the Heart of God?

Fortunately for Daniel he was in Gods will! His jail time was short, not one hair on his head was disturbed while he was in jail, and he had a good nights rest! Not so for his accusers, or their families. Well I will ask you to read it for yourself. And the best part of all, Dan prospered because of his faithfulness to God. Amen!!!!

Read Daniel 6:1-28

Makes you stop and think. If Christ were to stop by my house, I know that he would find that I'm a christian but in my mind I know that there is lots of room for improvement, and it must be done. I am with Chuck, challenged by it.
