How to Pray

Praying is our way of speaking to our Creator. We usually do this in times of hardships and problems. But in times of excitement, happiness and joy, we just forget to thank our God. So what then must be done?

Here's a short list of what must one do when praying:

1. Always Praise God

   Do not go directly for your appeals for God. Praise Him for His good works, kindness, love and mercy. Attest to Him that He is indeed your Creator, The Source of Life and the Mighty Saviour. Through Praising, we make our God happy just like a father being praised by his children for his wonderful works. It is a way of showing our love to him.

2. Ask For the Forgiveness of Sins

   Admit to God that you have sinned. Enumerate them or just generalize that you trespassed against His Laws or Will. Do not fear because He is merciful and His love for us is great and beyond human comprehension.

3. Thank God

   
   Appreciate for the blessing that has been showered to you from our God. Believe that your life is from Him and every little thing within you, money; knowledge; good health; etc.

4. Ask For What You Need and Want

   Be open to your Father, for He is your Father and He cares for you and do not hesitate to tell Him about your problems, dreams and goals for his knowledge and wisdom is great and please always wait for His response because He knows what's best for you.

The list above can be jumbled but it is best to pray using the order from above. Please pray by heart! May God be joyful with your praying!
