May This Reach Your Soul

In this article, we will discuss fallen man and his weakness toward sin, and we will also discuss how repentance and faith can overcome the weakness toward sin. God Bless all and may this reach your soul.

In this article, we will discuss fallen man and his weakness toward sin, and we will also discuss how repentance and faith can overcome the weakness toward sin.

First of all mankind being mankind are naturally prone to sin. Ever since the Fall in the garden of eden this has been so, because of Adam's sin all of his descendants(which we all are by the way) inherited that weakness for temptation.

The term the apple doesn't fall far from the tree rings true as anyone with eyes can see. In preparing to write this article I decided to use an example, think of sin as a disease of the soul. Just as physical diseases can be passed along from generation to generation, so too was the disease of sin.

Every behavior or deviation from a behavior begins first with the mind. When action is taken, the thought behind the action is known as the motive. If a person is not in their right mind, obviously their judgment may be somewhat skewed. Therefore their motive may not be so cut and dried crystal clear.

If however they are of sound mind and willfully go out and commit an unlawful act, that is called premeditation with intent. Now, obviously people, being human will make mistakes at times, but that is far different from the subject at hand. The subject at hand is what drives a lot of mankind to sin with intent and diliberation. Man, in his fallen state is crippled.

Only repentance and a restored relationship with God can heal the heart and minds of mankind. However, if a person knows the truth as it has been revealed in his heart through the Living Word of God, and if mankind continues to rebel in spite of this knowledge then man is sinning willfully at that point and has brought wrath upon himself.

Why would someone subject themselves to wrath in this way? because they have turned away and willfully blinded themselves to the point that they don't even recognize the truth when it stares them in the face.God is Longsuffering, anyone who has read the Bible knows this.

When however, people take for granted God's patience, they begin to get lazy and wax cold in their walk and relationship with God. My point in writing this article is to remind you that God loves you. If you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, then you are no longer a slave to sin, but instead can walk in peace and the newness of Life that God intended from the beginning.

I am not saying that we are without sin, anyone who says they are without sin decieves themselves. What I am saying however is that old things have passed away and all things have become new. Dear Ones nobody has to walk in darkness, God wants far better things for those that are His, so with that said, repent beloved and dwell in the Light of God's mercy

Good stuff. If our thinking is not straight and true to God\\\'s ways then our actions are going to be crooked too.

THAT IS DEEP! You hit the nail square when you write. We are a society of wretches. As the song Amazing Grace points out.
