No "Youngsters" in Christ?

The devil wants us to believe that we are worthless, but that is a lie. The devil is the prince of liars and the father of all lies. He often uses other people to tell us those lies, from our teachers and schoolmates to our relatives. When we hear that we are unacceptable or unlovable often enough, we begin to believe it. Some Christians call that a stronghold in our lives.

The devil wants us to believe that we are worthless, but that is a lie. The devil is the prince of liars and the father of all lies. He often uses other people to tell us those lies, from our teachers and schoolmates to our relatives. When we hear that we are unacceptable or unloveable often enough, we begin to believe it. Some Christians call that a stronghold in our lives.

God very rarely speaks to us in words our ears can hear. But he also uses people to speak the truth. So this is God's truth that I am telling you. Shaoran Li, before the God created the universe, he knew He was going to make you. That comes from the book of Jeremiah. When He knew He was going to make you, He also knew that He would call you to be His child. Through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, Christ's blood covers all of your sins and imperfections. God now sees you as if you were as perfect as Jesus. As an adopted child of God, you are precious in His sight. You are a daughter of the King of the Universe -- that makes you a royal princess.

This is the truth of God -- You are valuable, you are accepted, and you are loved. You can choose to believe the devil's lies. You are so used to hearing them in your mind, that it is very easy to believe them. So now, you must be brave and take a stand and say, "No matter how I feel, I choose to believe God's truth about me."

I will warn you, it might not be easy. The devil does not want you to believe God's truth and he will fight to keep you believing his lies. He may use other people to tease you or say mean things to you. He may cause something to happen that makes you feel stupid. But you must be strong and you must be brave and keep saying to yourself, "I am a child of the King and God loves me."
