Step 1 - The Meaning of Scripture
The first thing to do is look at scripture more closely. This involves looking at certain words in their original Hebrew, Greek or Arabic. Jesus said that if someone had the faith of a mustard seed that person could exercise power and authority over creation, over physical enmities.
This is not as simple as it sounds. Faith to most people means belief and to have faith in something means to act in a way that shows faith. It is far more complex than this.
The more we understand scripture in its original form the more we will know the meaning of its teachings. Sometimes in order to understand a passage we need to compare it with other verses from scripture. We need to interpret scripture with scripture.
Therefore, faith in the original Greek means something much deeper. It means to be in complete submission with the will of God and to completely believe in the Kingdom of God and the power therein.
Step 2 - Submission
So, now we know that we have to be line with the will of God. We need to act that out in our daily lives and meditate on the Word of God to show us what Gods desire is and His ultimate plan. We need to then devote our lives to following that plan. WHERE THE WILL OF GOD IS THERE WE WILL ALSO FIND THE POWER!
Step 3 - Belief
Now that we are in a position to submit our lives to God, the next step is to believe in the Word of God completely. This means that every event in the bible happened literally and scripture is a complete truthful history of the world. Such things as the Garden of Eden, The fall, Noah's flood, The Exodus and Parting of the Red Sea etc all happened precisely as the bible dictates.
We need to forget about the things we have learnt from influences outside of scripture and influences from the world. These are just untrue and profane in the light of scripture. We can also search deeper to see that science and archaeology shows that every event in the bible happened as it is said it did.

We need to follow these simple 3 steps and take action then you will see the power of God in your lives.
1. Search the real meaning of scripture
2. Submit your life to God and understand and follow His will
3. Believe completely in scripture from Genesis to Revelation
