O Lord God, please help the light of Jesus shine through me. May my
life be one that brings you glory and may my attitude show that every
good thing I have comes from you. In Jesus' name I pray.

For Friends:
Friends are a gift from you, O Lord. Please help me to remember this always and to touch the lives of others with your love and peace. Amen.
In your word you say a “it is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” Help us to live this out in our friendships and always put your will before our own. Protect this gift of our friendship and help it to grow. In your son's precious name, Amen.
Dear Jesus,
I am seeking a Christian friend. Send me divine connections and help me to be such a friend. Provide friends who will help my faith grow as well as those who are seeking more in their lives. Present opportunities to give a reason for the hope I have. Your will be done, Amen.
For Terminally ill or ill loved ones and friends:
Teach us to accept your will in all circumstances. We know that your ways are beyond our understanding and reasoning. Show us that you will make all things, though not earthly things, work out for our higher well being and benefit. Give us a heart, strength and mind to accept your will even if it is not our own. Heal this person and grant us a miracle if you see fit. If this is not the case, then give us and/or their loved ones the strength they need to see your face at this difficult time. Amen.
