Reading the Signs of the Times

Iran, openly hostile towards Israel, is heading for a nuclear confrontation with her. The question is not IF, but WHEN? I believe a preemptive strike by Israel is in the making and that this will occur before the High Holy Days this Fall.

We've all read headlines regarding Iran's hostile position against Israel and how they are making nuclear material for weaponry that can, soon, be used against them. Iran says it aims to produce nuclear fuel to "generate electricity," but experts, in the United States, say that the centrifuges they are producing now could just as easily be used to make weapons-grade material for dozens of nuclear warheads within a year.

The President of Iran's hostile remarks against Israel appear somewhat, delusional if he thinks Israel will sit tight and allow themselves to be bombed without defending themselves. He should be acutely aware that Israel has a tremendous military and a huge arsenal, as well. Also, Iran, and all the other Muslim nations know that the United States and Great Britain are all behind Israel's support. We, and others of the free world would come to Israel's defense in a "heartbeat," if she were attacked.

What I believe is a more likely scenario is that Israel, later in the year, will do a premptive strike against Iran just before one of her Holy Days in the Fall. I believe that Israel is apt to bomb some of the 31 target sites they recognize as being a threat to their country. What might happen then is a domino effect. Other Muslim nations could form a coalition to increase Iran's strike power to come against Israel in a surprise attack. There is power in numbers... and we know that for Ezekiel 38-39 to be fulfilled, a coalition of Muslim nations headed by Russia leads the attack. This is prophetic and not a matter of IF, but WHEN!

The question is whether this attack takes place before the rapture of the Church or after the rapture of the Church. What appears to make the most sense is that the manifestation of Ezekiel 38 and 39 occurs at the breaking of the Second Seal by Jesus in the Throne Room.

The Anti-Christ will have just been released by Jesus' breaking the First Seal releasing him to do his thing. By this time, the restraining power of The Holy Spirit, and the rapture ready Christians will have been removed from Earth, leaving Israel without any genuine military support. She will, basically be alone, and she will be very vulnerable. We know that the breaking of the Second Seal releases WAR upon the Earth and this surprise attack against Israel by Russia and the Arab coalition is the most likely unfulfilled war to manifest.

At present, Russia does not have the military arsenal she wants and needs to head this coalition. She is acquiring the money she needs to get fully equipped, however, by selling off all her old, out-dated weaponry to any of the Muslim nations that have the cash. Russia has been ardently supporting all the Muslim nations with weaponry, just as we've been supplying Israel with all she needs to protect herself.

It would take an act of insanity or a "kamikazi" attack, which would be suicidal for Russia or any of the Arab countries to launch a surprise attack against Israel now with the U.S., Great Britain and the United Nations peace keeping force ready to come to Israel's defense. After the rapture, these players are no longer around and the whole dismal picture changes, radically for Israel.

What we should be doing now:

  1. Realize that time, as we currently enjoy it, is rapidly coming to a close. Time is on a head-on collision course with eternity.
  2. Remember 2nd. Chronicles 7: 14: Repent, intercede for our Country, its leaders, all people in authority, The Church Body, our family, unsaved people [those we know and those we don't know] , neighbors, and friends.
  3. Remember nothing happens on earth until After the Seals are broken and none of the Seals are broken by Jesus until After the Bride is seated at the Throne of God.

Does this understanding not give a believing Christian great comfort? God's promises are absolute TRUTH and are to be believed ABSOLUTELY by the believer. We can't believe and reject what we will. That's what Corporate Israel has done and look where it has gotten her! Keep your eye on "OUR BLESSED HOPE".
