The 8th Commandment

Why steal when you know you will be caught.

Thou shall not steal - it is not a laughing matter. The demonic forces out there will cause one to rob. However, God's plan is righteous. When one steals, it affects everyone. Stealing is done deceitfully. People who rob and steal because they are low on faith are saying that God does not care. They think God will not take care of their needs. The way God cares is that He will meet the needs of His children.

One must work to meet the demands of everyday life and a fine point to that is prayer. Everyone should pray before going out to seek any type of work. This allows God to connect you with the right opportunity. God knows your greatest need. He knows the connection that is matched to your talent. There is something special about sensing the things God wants you to do so you too can share His glory. Each time you yield to the deceitful monster of stealing, you walk away from his glory.

Would you rob God? You are robbing God on tithes and offering when you fail to pay tithes and offerings. He can place a curse on you just like Ananias and Sapphria (read Acts Ch. 5). God does not want to be mocked because He is Sovereign Lord and requires our respect. When people give, they become a conduit to others. This can last for several generations. To whom much is given, much is required. A closed hand cannot give or receive blessings.

It is exciting for God to fulfill our needs. However, we have to give Him the opportunity for Him to fulfill our needs. We have no right to take one's property that does not belong to us. The consequences will increase if you continually rob others.

You have removed the protection of God from your life by robbing or stealing. This sin will affect the entire house of God by not having God's Spirit to operate to its fullest. Do not rob God, and in the process, impress others by buying things that you do not need. But failing to pay your tithes and offerings is deceitful behavior.

The thief comes to steal, destroy and kill. The devil thinks he is above the law and so he wants you to believe the same. The devil is wrong. God will prove to you from time and time again and again that you will get caught. The spirit of greed will also drive one to steal. America is in a state of being mean because she wants to get ahead and at times she will steal. Her action reveals a state of improper individualism attitude and that is not good. The way to rebuke improper thoughts and actions is to give away things. Amen.
