What happens when a seedling grows corrupt, instead of growing up straight it bends a little. Breaking, bending and not growing straight is as much a learned behavior as there is sin. When the seed was planted it did not know the true nature of this world, it was covered in darkness for weeks and even months. But as it picked up speed and picked up light, the seed learned that it had to fight for its life, and do whatever it takes to survive!
Everyone and everything starts from a seed; the only problem is that each seed starts from a different type of root. The D.N.A. in our seeds give us the chemical makeup of whom we are and will be till the day we die. Instead of us having faith of a good seed and growing up straight to wait for God, we bend and break a little to achieve what's already there. Plants fight for the sun; we fight for the son, but why fight when salvation is already given freely.
The bad seed wants nothing more than to satisfy itself, not caring about the creatures or things besides them. This bad seed lust after greed, adultery, homosexuality and even world power.
Many must ask the question. What makes a good seed go bad and a bad seed turn good? As mentioned before each seed carries its own unique D.N.A. and life is as much about how you plan to care for that seed before its planted as it is in the interest of where it will be planted.
All my life I have struggled with certain imminent factors in my life in which I did not have a chance to choose, those struggles are my height, race, hair color, neighborhood and even finances.
I still deal with the struggles of identity and purpose for which I was created for, but as my life continues to sprout I'm sure that I will find out God's true purpose for my life. Through life lessons I pray that I will be better prepared when it's my time to share a part of my seed with someone in order to plant a blessing for the world to see.
In all of us we share a little of the good and a little of the bad seed, it's just a matter of who we are as a person which will determine which part of our seed we give more power and authority to.
