If God is sleeping, I'm in trouble.
If God is laughing, I'm lost.
If God is crossing His arms and shaking his head, then there's no more hope.
Think carefully, does God really care for you?
If you ever think that God is not there for you in your hardest times then your faith must be at its weakest link. Remember the time when you decided to accept Him in your heart and life? Do you remember that at that time you also decided to let Him take over your life? If you don't, then that's the problem. You've never really accept Him truly in your life.
2 Corinthians 4:8-9
"We have troubles all around us, but we are not defeated. We do not know what to do, but we do not give up the hope of living. We are persecuted, but God does not leave us. We are hurt sometimes, but we are not destroyed."
You will feel God in your weakest point when you put all your trust in Him.
There is a Father who is ready to comfort us.
There is a Father who will hold us until we're better.
There is a Father who will help us until we can live with the hurt.
There is a Father who won't go to sleep when we are afraid of waking up and seeing the dark.
EVER.
"It's okay to be afraid... then trust the lord and all fears will go away."
It's true that in life's difficulties, we often do not know what to do. But it's okay to not know what to do. God only needs us to trust Him, be still and know that He is God. If you're not sure what to do, allow God to take the lead.
So what does God do when we are in a fix? He FIGHTS for us.
His job is to FIGHT. Our job is to TRUST.
Just trust. Not direct. Or question. Or grab the steering wheel out of His hands. Our job is to pray and wait. Nothing more necessary. Nothing more needed.
Psalm 62:6
"He is my Defender; I will not be defeated."
God Calls Your Name
He's waiting for you. God is standing on the porch of heaven, expectantly hoping, searching the horizon for a glimpse of His child. You're the one God is seeing. God is the awaiting Father, the caring Shepherd in search of His lamb. His legs are scratched, his feet are sore, and his eyes are burning. He scales the cliffs and traverses the fields. He explores the caves. He cups His hands to His mouth and calls into the canyon. And the name he calls is yours... The message is simple: God gave up His Son in order to rescue all His sons and daughters. To bring His children home. He's listening for your answer.
- And the Angels Were Silent
I often forget God in times of trouble but when I feel so helpless and alone, I hear His voice calling my name. My heart felt relief because now I'm drowning in His love and letting Him take over my life.
