Would our nation's military defense send men into battle to defend the country who believe they can not win? Would they send men to fight without strategy and knowledge of the enemy? Would they not equip soldiers with weapons to defend themselves and armor to protect them?
Without belief in their cause, knowledge and tactics used against the enemy, and the weapons and protection to carry, in warfare they would surely die.
Although the weapons of our country's military may not be of Gods choosing, the concept of the use of weapons, armor, belief, tactics, and knowledge is of God. As Christians we are at war with an enemy trying to overthrow the kingdom of God. In warfare God gives us the sword, the shield, Godly wisdom, and the authority over all the powers of the enemy.
Through Faith we Can Not be Defeated
The enemy's strategy is to cause chaos and confusion creating us to become busy and too involved. This way we won't notice his approach. Approaching like young lions lurking in secret places he will find our weaknesses and uses them against us, all the while us being unaware of his unseen presence. The devil will lie, cheat, steal, and deceive us; always watching and waiting for the littlest crack to slither his way through and into our lives. Sometimes it can take awhile for us to notice that he has found his way in. Before we know it we are in the middle of “who knows what” wondering how we got there. He uses our thoughts as a power against us, making us think things are our idea, easier luring us unknowingly into the enemy camp.
The enemy's battle is with Christ; to him we are his pawns on the playfield. He must capture and destroy us, remove us from Gods army to bring down the defenders of the Kingdom of God. In an attempt to win a war he can not win. Keep your focus on Christ; all things are made possible through Christ and He has already won the battle. We must believe this or our live as the devils pawn will become unmanageable and confusing.
“If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”(Mark 9:23)
Always remember the enemy only has the power we give him. He has no authority over us. Gods Word says WE are given authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt US. Do not fear, you can not be harmed, use the authority given in the name of Jesus. Take the Sword, the weapon of truth in Gods Word, and through faith carry His Shield. Put on the armor of God and destroy the enemy in your life. Make a stand, knock him down to the belly crawling creature he is and stomp him out with your foot. You have been given an indestructible weapon, the greatest warrior of peace, a ruler of all leaders, the King of King, Jesus Christ. He will always be with you, never leaving or forsaking you He will lead you to victory. Go through it with Him and He will bring you though.
