Wudhu

Wudhu is the Islamic act of washing parts of the body using water. Muslims are required to perform Wudhu in preparation for ritual prayers and for handling and reading the Qur'an.

To make Wudhu is very easy with some simple steps. You must know some Du'as as well. Wudhu is also known as Ablution. I will explain the steps here on this page.

1. Make Niyyah (intention) for making Wudhu in the heart (not openly).

2. Say Du'a Before Wudhu

3. Say Tasmiyah

Note: Make sure you are not wasting water; it is a sin to do so.

4. First, wash your right hand up to your wrist, repeat with left hand (make sure water passes through fingers).

5. Then, cup some water in the hands and gurgle it in the mouth, repeat three times.

6. Cup some water in the hands and pour over face, from the hairline to the chin, one ear to another, and if you have a beard, rub your fingers through it (khilaal of the beard)

7. Now, pass some water over your right arm up to your elbow, repeat with left arm.

8. Now you are in the middle of making Wudhu, say Du'a While Making Wudhu.

9. Wet the hands and pass them over the head.

10. Wet the hands and rub them behind the ears and the gaps outside of them.

11. Wash the right foot up to the ankle, repeat with the left foot (make sure water passes through toes).

12. You are almost done Wudhu, now say the Du'a After Wudhu

Now the process of Wudhu is done, and you will proceed to Salaah. Here are all the Du'as again. Tasmiyah:
