Judaism: The Nature of G-D |
|
|
|
by Ratters, Nov 15, 2007 |
Jewish law says that there is only one god who is transcendent and is above and beyond all earthly things. There is an example of this in the Bible which states that he made the entire world in 6 days. |
-
G-d has no body and is neither male nor female.
-
G-d is omnipresent and is everywhere at all times and has always existed and will always exist.
-
G-d is omnipotent and is all powerful.
-
Punishes the bad: Angel of Death in Egypt
-
Rewards the good: Saved the Israelites
-
G-d forgives those with faith
-
G-d is personal and accessible to all
-
God hears all and is interested in all
-
The Nature of God is unique and beyond ours
