America's Broken Dollar

Monetary and spiritual values on the decline.

There is something really wrong with our currency. All of the major markets in the worldare reflecting the steady decline of it's value more often and more prominently. The trend has become the norm. The downward arrows bearing the direction of it's stability, are now common place and con-tinual. Our God given right to monetary dominance of the world markets on the decline? The wealth ofthe most powerful nation under God, suspect or depleted? How in God's name did this happen? Well, let's see. We took prayer out of our schools. We no longer use the Bible or mentionGod in our courts. It is now politically incorrect to announce in most of our public forums, our beliefin God. We may offend Allah or the people that openly worship him. That's a piece of twisted logic be-cause Allah and God are one in the same! That's just about the only common ground Christians doshare with Muslims. Actually, the Koran and the Bible do have many similarities, but the radical Mus-lims would never acknowledge that. In fact, the more militant sect of Islam will kill you just for sug-gesting such an idea! Now, we have removed God from our newest dollar coin currency. It no longer reads, "InGod we trust." This nation used to stand for God and country and our currency declared to the entireworld of our faith and trust in both. This country is in dire straits and our Washington brain-trust justannounced globally that God just isn't as important to us as he used to be. So, who's the moron that'sresponsible for removing God's name? Who are the brain dead, irresponsible people that would dosuch a thing? We are! You and I!

We The People..... I did this act by not acting. I have been doing the same kind of thing for many years. You did this thing by not paying attention and not acting by reasonof simple apathy amd selfishness. We the people are a sad lot. We only complain or act when the is-sues directly apply to our own welfare. Even then, when the outcome is positively oriented, we fail toinvestigate or gratefully acknowledge the issue or people that were involved in the matter. We simplytake it for granted or worse yet, we merely accept it as our due reward. We expect only good things tohappen to us in America and when bad things do come our way, we are the first to yell the loudest andcomplain the most! Worse yet, we only complain more and scream a little longer then we fold our tentsand go home. That's it. That's the limit of our involvement and active participation on the matter.. There is an old saying, "The greatest trick the Devil ever performed, was to convince theworld that he didn't exist"!! He is clever and extremely devious. He is the master magician. He is a the world's grand puppeteer and we dance to the pull of his strings. The worst part of the performancethough, is when we know that he is responsible for the charade and we just put our actions to it onstandby.

We fail ourselves and each other through our inability to either, recognize, or respond to evilintent. There will be an accountability for the wanton disregard of our basic values and principles.. Before you label this article as just another speech from a religious zealot, consider this. Ithink of myself to be spiritual but not religious. I belong to a specific religious denomination, but Irarely attend church activities. I have found that most churches are indeed locked into doctrines of self- serving, bureaucratic, foundations of stone. In my opinion, the more personal "walk with God", seemsto be more fulfilling and open for the mind and the spirit. However, I firmly believe that any idea orpolicy based upon a solid connection with God's approval and support, can not or will not fail. We thepeople, have a lot of history and proof that we do much, much better with him as a partner. We thepeople are currently in the most troublesome and perilous times of our history.

Only the most arrogantof We The People could possibly believe that we the people do not need his help and guidance. Theabsence of his name on our currency sends a very negative message to everyone. I applaud the plat-form and effort for the removal of this currency by refusing to use it in any manner whatsoever. Wayne Hodge " Hodgeebobba"
