A common argument for believers of creationism or god is that everything which exists must have been created by someone or something else with divine power. The typical discussion is as follows:
Discussion:
Believer: Who or what created us?
Atheist: Nothing. Biological evolution saw the rise of certain species of which we are a specified part of.
Believer: Then who or what created the idea or principle of evolution?
Atheist: Evolution is a natural occurrence which was the result of physical and chemical events that took place on Earth millions of years ago.
Believer: Where did the Earth come from?
Atheist: Cosmological particles that fused to become a large body of mass.
Believer: How did these such 'particles' arise?
Atheist: They existed with the universe as of its expansion, otherwise known as the 'Big Bang'.
Believer: Who created the universe then?
Atheist: No one 'created' the universe. It is something that science has yet to understand.
Believer: There must have been someone who created the universe and all that existed, including ourselves.
Atheist: And who might that have been?
Believer: God himself.
Atheist: You say that everything must have a creator. What created God then?
Believer: No one. God always existed.
Atheist (Laughing out Loud): But what you just said about 3 seconds ago contradicts that. You said that everything needed a creator. How can you possibly state that while suggesting that only 'God' has no creator?!?!?!? Are you assuming that your knowledge is beyond what science can prove???

As you can see, the atheist is basing his beliefs that there is no god on the fact that there is no proof of Him whatsoever. I have been met with a similar question:
'What gives one the possibility in believing in something that is purely a figment of imagination over what everyone else accepts as common knowledge?'
Explained further, this question is basically asking; OMG You guys are so stupid. What the heck makes you think that God exists when there is no proof? How can you prefer a piece of someone's imagination over scientific evidence, which actually have support for themselves?
I am a nonbeliever and I wish for all religious peoples to answer it. I have never heard of an answer that actually made any sense, both logically and physically. Go on, surprise me!
