I was raised a Catholic until I realized that it was founded on the Pagan religions and then they probably murdered all the pagans to cover their roots.
When I was 16 I became what I always called a New Wave Radical Christian. The NWRC. It's my own religion as far as I can tell.
Later people told me that I was espousing the Buddhists but I never became a full fledged Buddhist.
Later I became a Wiccan b/c I loved the fact that they had ONE law that covered EVERYTHING .... Harm YE NO ONE!
I am STILL a Wiccan at heart but I have realized that RELIGION as we know it is totally man-made. None of it comes from God. The writings are done by men and the rules are designed by men and the whole structure was descended from the religions of aliens who came here thousands of years ago.
I don't need to explain to you but my understanding ala Icke is that the current religions all developed from Rammis (God the Father), Semi Rammis (The Virgin Mary ... the Goddess), and Tamuuz (the son, Jesus, etc). It makes total sense to me since you can see it in almost all religions.
Lately, I go by what I learned on the website http://askthedragon.com which talks of a book called Bringers of the Dawn. I believe it was on that website where I discovered the Prime Creator. On that website you can download the entire book Bringers of the Dawn ... for FREE. And in that book they reference the fact that most of the gods of the current religions, Catholicism included, are merely sub-gods designed by man-made religion to control and subvert the human populace.
There was a TIME for those gods, many years ago. But people now are becoming enlightened and they are learning the TRUTH about the TRUTH. And so NOW, I pray to the same God to which I have always prayed but I have changed His Name to the Prime Creator.
The Prime Creator is the God of all Gods. He is the TOP DUDE, or dudess. He/She is the one who is spreading LIGHT through our part of the universe right now and it is displacing the Darkness and the People of the Darkness (Bush and his minions) and people are becoming enlightened, more each day, and we are preparing for one of the biggest changes in history as we LEAVE our present AGE, AEON, or what have you (the whole entire previous 25,000 years) and we are moving into the NEXT Age, Aeon, (25,000 years), known as the Age of Aquarius. ( NOW I know what all the singing was about in the 1960's as they sung about the Age of Aquarius ).
The AMAZING thing is, that the closer I have grown to God, the further I have grown away from organized religion. The DAY that I gave up religion was THE day that I felt FREE in my heart, and my soul sang out in jubilation, and I looked up to the Heavens, and I said LORD GOD ... I am finally YOURS and YOURS alone! I could almost hear Him/Her saying "Welcome my son!" It was the greatest feeling ever. And you know? To this very day I have never regretted the decision.
What most people do NOT realize is that God and Religion is a decision that YOU have to make. It should not be made for you, although your parents had all the best intentions and were merely trying to make sure that you had a love of God in your soul. But there comes a time when everyone must make their own choice. Mine came at first when I was 16. And my latest personal revelation came to me when I was about 56.
The whole trick is to NOT get stuck in a rut. Do NOT sit back and take things for granted. When I first discovered God it was not a "take it on faith" type thing. It was a "GOD ... get down here NOW and she me WHO You are! .... please!" ALWAYS add the "please" at the end. After all He/She does have the power to fry you on the spot should He choose. So ALWAYS have respect to the Lord Your God. But by all means CHALLENGE HIM! Let Him know that you are SINCERE in wanting to know Him and feel Him and talk to Him and communicate WITH Him. It is the most awesome pleasure in this world! To communicate with God. And he doesn't do it with everyone. He ONLY does it with the SINCEREST of us. He really doesn't have the time to mess with us if we are calling him names or using His name in vein, or messing around and then asking forgiveness when it suits us. He wants the people who are willing to TRY to make the BEST of their lives. But if YOU make the effort ... HE will take time out of His day to come and say "Hi". He's really cool about that. Because I challenged God He has proven Himself to me over and over again. In fact, when I go into the store and come back out to my car I almost always, at least ONCE a day, find a penny outside the door to my car. I ALWAYS pick it up ... even when it is NOT face up, and I look up and say "Thanks Dude". And I always hear him whisper in my ear "You're welcome, Dude".
