The Holy Spirit guides each person who has confessed with his mouth and believes in his heart that Jesus Christ is his Savior and Lord. He does this in every area of life and each situation by leading them to comply with God's laws, which contain boundaries for managing their lives including the monetary resources they come into. Being a separate person yet fully God and one with the Father and the Son, He lives in us to direct us to God's perfect will. Simply put, He wants us to have life and have it more abundantly and thus he continually aims us at developing our relationship with Christ because this is the only way we can have abundant life. Such life moves us ever closer to doing the impossible. When He lives in us and we in Him we have the power and creative ability to carry out endeavors and perform services that are far beyond our natural abilities.
Now, the Holy Spirit also works in the lives of unbelievers. He continually uses people and situations to show them the error, danger, and consequences of not accepting Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. In other words, He convinces them of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He works through believers to convince unbelievers while they're on earth that they need and should accept Christ. Unfortunately, some unbelievers won't bow the knee or confess that Christ is Lord until they stand before almighty God on the day of judgment. Any true believer desperately wants unbelievers to accept Christ now, so that they bypass the wrath of God that will be evident on the Day of Judgment. All because God sheds His love abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. He desires that all should repent and thus none should perish and so do we.
Secondarily, the Holy Spirit desires that unbelievers utilize the many gifts and talents that God bestowed upon them at creation in order to glorify Him and be of service to other people. God created each of us with the latent ability to do the impossible. It doesn‘t matter whether you were born normal or abnormal or how long you‘ve lived, your very presence and abilities have the opportunity to touch someone in a very special way and help them see the great good that can come from their lives. Unfortunately, we sometimes see the impossible being done in perverse, wicked ways (i.e., pornography billionaires, evil dictators, false religion leaders, mass murderers, and various other wicked occupations and practices that have become large in scope). All the people leading such endeavors could have used their gifts and abilities to forge a godly, moral path providing great honor to God and service to people around them. However, they chose to take the negative route.
The fact that we often don't do the impossible that God created us to do or we don't do it with the glory of God in mind, helps us understand why believers chose after some time of walking the wrong path to accept Christ and be led by the Holy Spirit. His leading is the only way that we can walk the right path and be all that He created us to be. Each unbeliever must recognize the same and be saved from the wrath to come and sanctified to produce good works by confessing and believing that Jesus Christ is his Savior and LORD. Then, they can move on to truly do the impossible. Otherwise, all that they do or build on earth will not save them or be meaningful when they meet God face to face in judgment. As believers God will forgive and forget their past, give them eternal life instead of eternal damnation and begin to deposit eternal blessings in their heavenly bank account as they go about doing the will of God.
Understand, the works of God brought forth by obedience to His will are in every area of life and are not limited to being a preacher of the gospel who speaks from a pulpit every Sunday. The Holy Spirit moves people in every imaginable area of life and commerce (family, parenting, business, finance, politics, economics, money management, military, church, culture, entertainment, sports, etc.). The qualifier being, He will not lead you to do anything that goes against biblical principle because it exemplifies His Godly character. So, whether you're saved or unsaved allow your faith to rise to believe the real truth that God is everything He said He is: the Way, the Truth, the Life, and the almighty judge of heaven and earth. He said each person who diligently does His will shall be made rich, without faith it's impossible to please Him, and we must believe that He is and that He greatly rewards those who diligently seek Him.
If you want to do the impossible in life and finance invite the Holy Spirit to guide you each day and seek Him in prayer more each day. Then, He is sure to continually tell you of the great purpose He has for your life and show the way you can glorify God and be of utmost service to other people.
