Never Alone

Never alone. Never forgotten. Never abandoned. Sounds good. Take a look and see who exactly promises these things.

God promises NEVER to leave for forsake us. No matter what situation we are in or how we are feeling, He will always be there for us. He is a God we can completely trust in and rely on.

Psalm 73:26 says, "God is the strength of my heart and my portion for ever". Isn't that just amazing? It is so reassuring. God will never throw us away because He loves us. He will be with us forever and will give us all the strength we need throughout our lives. We do not need to turn to the things of this world for strength, comfort or reassurance. We must turn to God because in Him, we have everything we need.

A God who listens

Even when we feel like the world is against us and that nothing seems to be going right, God will be there. He will listen. God is never against us for feeling like we are alone. He may not agree with us but He is prepared to pay attention when we tell Him how we feel. At times this is the greatest thing that God can do for us. It shows He cares.

Feeling downcast

We can all experience times when we cannot shake off our feelings of hurt or pain. In these times we must hold onto God's word. The word is truth because God put it together and He simply cannot lie. He promises to always be with us! How many times must we be told that before we can begin to believe it? Trust in His word and He will come through for us. We must ask God to reveal the meaning of His word to us too because His word is the unfailing remedy for spiritual hopelessness.

Heaven help the helpless

When we live life the way God designed then He rewards us with happiness, success, spiritual fulfilment and freedom from fear. But we cannot live God's way in our own strength. When we feel like we are on our own we especially need God's help because this is a time when we can only survive with godly power. We must therefore do our very best to live God's way. Heaven does not help those who help themselves. Heaven helps the helpless by giving them God's supernatural strength.
