The meaning of the Beatitudes found in the St. Matthews Gospel of the canonized Bible has puzzled society since Christ walked this Earth. Chapter 5, Verses 1- 12, give the illustration of these Beatitudes, but mankind is not sure why Christ poured out His heart by reciting these words.

Tears for Ed Bradley

Veteran CBS newscaster Ed Bradley died Wednesday evening in a New York City hospital of complications from leukemia. When asked how he'd get into heaven, he said he'd ask St. Peter if he had seen the piece Bradley had done on Lena Horne. Do people go to heaven by being good and doing a lot of good works? I can only hope Ed Bradley was joking around for the camera, as those words have become his epitaph.
