Not my Momma's Church

So often in life we do things because our parents do them. Most of the things our parents do are correct and/or Godly. However, entering the Kingdom of God requires that we receive Christ as our personal Savior. If our Mother's church does not offer us growth in His Kingdom, then it can not remain Our church.

The devil wants us to believe that we are worthless, but that is a lie. The devil is the prince of liars and the father of all lies. He often uses other people to tell us those lies, from our teachers and schoolmates to our relatives. When we hear that we are unacceptable or unlovable often enough, we begin to believe it. Some Christians call that a stronghold in our lives.
