Allah is the name of God among Islamic religion. It is the Arabic word for “God or the Lord” in Muslim beliefs. The etymology of the words is formed by the use of ‘Al’(the) and ‘ilah’(deity), then combined into ‘Allah’, meaning only one God.

Regarding Ritual of Sadaqah in Islam

Sadaqah should not be a question of giving away something because it is of no use. Sadaqah in its true sense is to give something that is valued. One Imam (AS) used to give sadaqah of sugar in particular. When asked why he replied because he liked sugar he gave it in sadaqah.

The day my five-year-old asked “do we celebrate Christmas or Hanukkah?” I saw how confusing religion must be to the children in today's world. Religious confusion is common for adults as well in this day and age. People do not comprehend the differences and therefore blindly combat religion against religion.
